Parents and guardians in St. Paul’s are being encouraged to bring their children to the annual St. Paul Back-to-School Fair, hosted by Member of Parliament for St. Paul’s, Hon. E.P. Chet Greene, as the community prepares for the start of the new school year.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Basketball Court at Liberta School.
As part of the initiative, all children registered at the community’s three primary schools, Cobbs Cross Primary, Liberta Primary and New Bethel SDA Academy, will receive complimentary back-to-school packages containing essential educational supplies.
The packages will include book bags, books, pens, pencils, geometry sets, erasers and other school necessities, providing practical assistance to families as they prepare for the new academic year.
The fair will also serve as a fun-filled end-of-summer activity for children, with bouncy castles, rides, live music and magical entertainment by Guerin “Gigi” Hunte.
Organisers say the event is designed to combine educational support with family entertainment, giving children an opportunity to enjoy themselves while receiving supplies they will need for the upcoming school term.
Children registered at community pre-schools will also benefit from the initiative. Their school supplies will be distributed on the first day of the new term at their respective schools.
Parents and guardians are being strongly encouraged to attend the fair with their children and take advantage of the assistance being offered.
The St. Paul Back-to-School Fair continues MP Chet Greene’s efforts to support families and students within the constituency while helping children begin the new school year equipped and ready to learn.
